MS CRM accelerators

posted on 27th November, 2009 by Catherine No Comments »

The (Microsoft CRM) MS CRM accelerators are software add ons, free from Microsoft that can be added to your Microsoft CRM system to enable extra functionality.  They enhance systems to make them do more.  For example the event manager will take the strain from running events by managing delegates, with a click of a button print delegate badges and keep a total of the budgets, in a central repository so if there are many people working on one event they have access to this information.

Social Media accelerator is a new accelerator and a popular choice.  As more and more people turn to Twitter, it makes sense to find out what really matters to that client and give your organisation that information within their contact record – giving a truer than ever 360 degree view of your customer.

The accelerators that are available include :

CRM Notifications

Analytics

Sales Methodologies

Event Management

E-Service Portal

Extended Sales Forecasting

Business Productivity

Enterprise Search

Social Media Networking

If you would like a free copy of the social media networking paper that Microsoft have produced please contact Catherine@caltech.co.uk

or to find out more about the accelerators see:

CRM supplier Leeds

posted on 26th November, 2009 by Catherine No Comments »

Caltech are a leading provider of CRM solutions based near Leeds in Yorkshire. We have been working with CRM systems since 1999.

Many of our clients ask for a local provider of CRM to ensure that we are able to assist in times of need and for account management.

CRM is not something that can be undertaken without much thought and consideration.  It is a project that will entail ensuring that many parts of the business are on-board with the solution and ability to use it.

Caltech offer GoldMine, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HEAT and ACT by Sage.

Caltech are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of CRM and its aim is to maximise the efficiency of every system that it implements.  Caltech work hard with their clients in the design specification to get things right for them and its imperative that this part of the planning is in place.

Undertaking a CRM project is  a huge task.  Its not about deciding you need CRM and putting a disc in to generate a system.  Its about getting the buy-in from the whole of the organisation and stakeholders, and having processes in place to support this.

Your chosen software, GoldMine or MS Dynamics CRM should be tailored to ensure it makes sense to  your users, follows the processes you have designed and gets the end results you planned.  Using Caltech to do this will help save wasted time as it has dealt with many, many industries over the last 10 years.

Hosted CRM or On Premise CRM?!

posted on 26th November, 2009 by Catherine 2 Comments »

Choosing a CRM system is a difficult decision to make.  There are suppliers to consider, costs, what you want it to achieve for your organisation, the risk involved, the buy in from your internal colleagues and then the time to implement it and get the most from it.

Now there is also the additional choice of hosted CRM or on premise…

So why hosted?   Hosted gives users a monthly payment option, and email capability.  There should be a back up of your data daily and there should be software assurance included in the price.  There are minimal installation fees with hosted CRM yet clients enjoy a full configuaration ensuring that CRM will meet your requirements and options.  Hosted CRM companies should also offer full support for your users.

Caltech have been implementing CRM for over a decade and have worked with both hosted and on premise solutions.  We can help you to consider which is the best option for what you need to do and how you want it to work for you.  There is no right or wrong answer – its about what fits your needs.

There are various choices for both hosted MS CRM and hosted GoldMine.

Event management software

posted on 25th November, 2009 by Catherine No Comments »

Event management is such a time consuming role – all the invitations, the delegate management, the communication to ensure everything is where it is needed at the right time and that everyone has joined up diaries, fresh information and the correct speeches…

To take the pain out of Event management there are many organisations who can assist by providing resource for some of the larger events, but each event, no matter how large consist of the same ingredients, venue, delegate management and organisation.

Using Microsoft CRM event manager accelerator.  The accelerator can manage many events simultaneously and can effectively register delegates, gather information in a format that is usable for event lists, delegate badges printing and delegate information circulation.

The event manager can also close an event when it is full keeping a list of surplus delegates.

The event manager accelerator can be used on small or large events and is popular with large corporates, small organisations and not for profit or charities that are running many events.

To find out more about how the event manager can work for you contact Catherine@caltech.co.uk 0192 4507 280.
