Yes, but because the Novell network client drivers have been shown to exhibit problems that can seriously endanger your data, we recommend the use of Microsoft’s client for Novell networks when using GoldMine® in a Novell network.

Yes GoldMine® 4.0, 5.0, 5.5 & 5.7 and Sales & Marketing all synchronize with Palm and Windows CE devices via built-in synchronization module. More information can be found in the manuals dedicated to the subject for each version of GoldMine®.

RightFax, FaxRush, Zetafax, Delfax and WinFax are the supported fax solutions usable with the GoldMine® link to Microsoft Word.

Yes. GoldMine® uses your modem to dial the telephone. GoldMine® has a number of built-in functions that are utilised by a number of add on products to really integrate your phone system with your database.

The standard editions of GoldMine® 4.0 and 5.0 support dBase IV tables only. GoldMine® 4.0 Enterprise supports InterBase 4.2, MSSQL 6.5/7.0, Oracle 7.3 and dBase IV tables. GoldMine® FrontOffice 2000™ Server supports MSSQL 7.0 & MSSQL 2000 while remote FrontOffice users have the option of using dBase IV or MSSQL 7.

GoldMine® 4.0, GoldMine® 5.0 and GoldMine® FrontOffice 2000™ version updates are not available for download from the web. You must either obtain an update CD from the Caltech Sales department.
