What are Microsoft Dynamics Accelerators?

We have Microsoft Dynamics CRM and have heard that the “accelerators” are add ons to the product – how do we get these?

The accelerators are a free add on to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM software. They give extra functionality for various areas of the system, and have solved many problems.  Specifically these are

  •  Analytics that supplies Sales, Operations and Service reporting
  • Event Management  which plans, creates, allows delegates to book themselves and reviews the outcome of events
  • E-Service Portal is a configurable self-service portal
  • Enterprise Search Rapidly configures portal views of CRM data within SharePoint and MOSS
  • Extended Sales Forecasting
  • CRM Notifications allows RSS newsfeeds to join CRM events
  • Business Productivity
  • Sales Methodologies provides guidance of third party benchmarking and best practise; SPI Solution Selling, Miller Heiman and Target Account Selling.
  • Social Media Networking
