Last weekend Caltech I.T. Limited officially celebrated its 20-year anniversary. Prior to setting up the company, Phil was one of the key technology advisors for Business Link in Leeds where his role encompassed talking to companies, understanding what they were trying to do and giving advice on the technology available and what grant assistance could be accessed. Phil Callaghan started by selling Sage software but soon realized a niche for CRM and began with GoldMine. And he found the technology industry was booming….
David Taylor joined Caltech in 1999 -initially on a freelance basis – but was then offered a full-time position and in 2001 he became a director of the firm, a partnership that has stood the test of time.
In 2008 Caltech needed a new product and turned to Microsoft. Getting involved with Microsoft Dynamics CRM now named 365 was a perfect fit and it has taken the business forward to 2019.
Reflecting on the past two decades in business Phil and David talk about the ever-changing landscape, when he first used Google PPC and the software the company has delivered to help so many organisations throughout the UK (and even as far as Australia), as well as staff past and present. Caltech has played a significant part for its client from helping large organisations to manage complex processes to working on sales CRM solutions.
Phil and David thanked
Today Caltech I.T. Limited is especially proud to be working with so many businesses across the UK making a difference for them. Phil has been semi-retired for the last 18months and has handed the reins over to Catherine Carlyle as general manager. Catherine joined the business almost a decade ago and loves to help clients realise efficiencies with technology.
Here’s to the next milestone!
