In the second article in our series on Caltech CRM people, here we introduce you to Tom Hau who works as a CRM Support Technician.
Tell us about your role at Caltech CRM
My job entails supporting our CRM customers with any issues they may be having. This involves supporting CRM as a whole and particularly the CRM Outlook client.
When did you join Caltech CRM?
I joined Caltech in June 2016 after studying for a level 3 BTEC extended diploma in ICT at Ossett Academy’s Sixth form college. I undertook my apprenticeship here at Caltech and received a Level 3 Diploma for ICT Systems and Principles for IT Professionals.
What roles have you held in the company?
The roles I have held are CRM Configurator and CRM Support Technician so feel that I really do know Microsoft Dynamics 365 inside and out!

- Good customer relationships. Always trying to do what’s right for the customer and help them get the most from their CRM.
Is there a particular achievement you’re proud of?
The biggest achievement at Caltech is stepping out of my comfort zone and training users. This has allowed me to gain more confidence in my work. I know Dynamics 365 like the back of my hand but was a little daunted at the prospect of training people at first.”
How do you switch off from work?
I love playing different kind of sports like badminton, football, table tennis etc. I love watching sport as well, the football team that I support/follow is Liverpool Football Club. Other hobbies of mine consists of gaming, watching films and tv shows, going out with friends and family. My favourite genre of films is Horror.
